What is Equine DW-123?

Safe for horses and ponies of all ages, including pregnant mares. With EQUINE DW-123 de-wormer may be added to the horses daily feed ration and is safe to use on a regular basis as an effective preventative.

Diatomaceous Earth (DE), Pure Garlic Extracts combined with Palatable Lactobacillus Acidophilus Fermentation Solubles rich in Metabolites.

INGREDIENTS INFORMATION:

Lactobacillus Acidophilus Fermentation Solubles are the condensed substrate of the Fermentation of Whey inoculated with Lactic Acid Bacteria and fortified with specific Microbial Nutrients. They are rich in the Metabolites produced by Probiotics and therefore act asstimulants for growth and reproduction of beneficial intestinal micro-organisms. These solubles are also documented growth inhibitorsfor pathogens (eg. salmonella).

Diatomaceous earth are the remains of trillions of single celled algae called diatoms which synthesized shells for themselves out of thesilica. When the diatoms die the shell settle on the bottom of the sea or lake beds and fossilize into soft chalky rock like substance. The D.E. particles are characterized by their irregular spiny like shape and average from 5-20 microns in diameter.

D.E. has been approved by the FDA for internal and external use and has a rating of Food Chemical Codex Grade. Its use internally and externally is stictly mechanical. The microscopic sharp edges contact offending organisms, pierce their protective coatings and cause them to dry out and die. It has been used in agricultural industry in direct application to the skin, in crates, enclusures, pastures, on stored grain and fruit trees to impede tree flies, worms, worms and Japanese beetles. D.E. , in field reports was shown to dramatically reduce fly population.

Garlic(allium sativum) contains volatile oil, hormone like substances, glucokinins, germanium and mucilage. Its action is antipathogenic, especially in the digestive tract and respiratory system. It is been used for centuries as an effective and safe anti worming agent. Garlic produces significant effects in the gut, inhibiting pathogenic organisms , while encouraging the presence of normal symbiotic flora. It stimulates digestive secretions, including bile, and seems to normalize the chemical environment.
